Welcome

Mayor Bernero with neighbors of Baker Neighborhood

Welcome to the City of Lansing Neighborhood Website!

The City of Lansing is excited to launch our new Neighborhoods website. Here citizens will find comprehensive information about living in Lansing. Whether you are a new resident or longtime neighbor, you’ll find lots of helpful information. Find out about neighborhood organizations in your area or learn how to start one. Information about neighborhood activities, rental property registrations, local schools, park activities, grant opportunities, code compliance issues and so much more can all be found here.

This information in this site is built through the ongoing conversations between the Neighborhood Resource Team and Lansing citizens. If you are unable to find something you’re looking for, please contact me and we will add the information or locate the appropriate resource.

If you have a neighborhood organization not listed, please let us know and we will be glad to include it. The City of Lansing has neighborhood organizations across the city. Many neighborhoods are served by more than one organization. Lansing is citizen-led, self-organizing city. Neighbors determine their boundaries, organizational structure, and goals and activities. So long as your organization is based in a City of Lansing neighborhood and adheres to all of our city non-discrimination policies, we are happy to include it on the City of Lansing neighborhood website.

The City of Lansing Neighborhood Resource Team is excited to work with you to make this a valuable tool. Please let us know how we can continue to improve the site.

Thank you for all you do to build strong neighborhoods in Lansing!
