In April 2019, Erin joined the City of Lansing’s Department of Neighborhoods and Citizen Engagement (DNCE) as a contract employee fufilling the role of Special Projects Administrator. In her role, Erin supports the team by leading SERVE Lansing, coordinating the Citizens Academy program, quarterly Housing & Neighborhood Resource Summits and overseeing the AmeriCorps VISTA members. Prior to her new assignment, Erin served DNCE as an AmeriCorps VISTA, Resource Development Coordinator for the 2018-2019 year. Previous employment includes Michigan State University, The University of Michigan-Flint, Western Michigan University, Lansing Community College and the Walt Disney Company. Erin is an active neighbor in Sycamore Park Neighborhood Association serving on the executive board. Erin holds a Master of Arts from Western Michigan University in College Counseling and Student Affairs.
DeLisa FountainAdministrative AssistantPhone: 517-483-4051Born and raised in Lansing, graduate of J W Sexton High School and Davenport University, DeLisa began working for the City of Lansing in September 2014. Prior to coming to the City of Lansing, DeLisa was a Lead Community Organizer for N.E.O.N. (Nurturing Early On is Necessary), a parent led community organization (under the guidance of One Love Global) that focused on the engagement of families with children ages 0-8. She is raising her three sons to value community involvement as well with the belief that sowing into one’s community is not a chore but an obligation no matter the age. DeLisa is excited to tackle her new role as the Administrative Assistant for NCE and is looking forward to working with the many community organizations in our great city!
