    A Walking Wednesday is a walk through your neighborhood with neighbors, City officials, City Council members, Lansing Police Officers, and anyone else who may be interested in the assets of your neighborhood, and the areas of improvement or interest. These events are typically held on a Wednesday during spring, summer, or early fall. However, the Neighborhood Resource Team is happy to schedule a Walking Wednesday whenever it works best for your community. To schedule a Walking Wednesday, please contact the Director of the Department of Neighborhoods and Citizen Engagement, Andi Crawford ( or 517- 614-9695) with several dates and times that work best for you, your community organization, and your neighbors.
